Brighton Photo Fringe

Brighton Photo Fringe

Brighton Photo Fringe supports photographers and lens-based artists by opening up spaces, coordinating participatory projects and creating opportunities.

Every two years Brighton Photo Fringe brings together a city-wide festival of exhibitions and events that runs alongside the Brighton Photo Biennial. In 2008 Brighton Photo Fringe included over 80 exhibitions, featured works by over 300 artists and had an audience of 45,000-50,000.

As its keynote exhibition for 2010, Brighton Photo Fringe will be holding OPEN 2010, an open submission exhibition opportunity that will be selected by Charlotte Cotton, Martin Parr and Val Williams.

Brighton Photo Fringe is open to anyone who wants to take part, all exhibitions are free and are located throughout the city in independent galleries and non-traditional exhibition spaces.
