Waddesdon Manor

Ce manoir appartenant au National trust est un château de style Renaissance française construit à la fin du 18è siècle par le Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild pour exposer ses trésors artistiques et divertir la haute société. Il abrite l’une des plus remarquables collections d’art décoratif du 18è siècle au monde dont notamment des portraits de Gainsborough et de Reynolds et des œuvres d’anciens maîtres flamands et hollandais. Les jardins sont dotés d’un parterre, de plantations saisonnières, d’une volière, d’aires de jeux statuaires et en bois. Avec ses boutiques et ses deux restaurants à licence, Waddesdon fera de votre visite une journée mémorable.
